Privacy policy

This page explains what KashPage collects when you use kashpage.com, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. Last updated September 23, 2026.

Who we are

KashPage operates kashpage.com, a store builder for independent sellers. For anything about your information, write to privacy@kashpage.com.

What we collect, and why

• Your login. Accounts are created and signed in through Clerk, our identity provider. Clerk holds your name and email address, or the name and email address Google shares if you sign in with Google, plus the security records a sign-in service keeps, such as when and from where you signed in. We use your name and email to greet you and to reach you about your account.
• Your on-boarding request. To set up a store we ask for the name of the responsible person, the company name, an email address and phone number, a billing address and the store's name. We use these to open your account, activate and bill your store, and contact you about it.
• Closing a store. You may tell us why. That is optional and only helps us improve.
• The newsletter. If you subscribe, your name and email address, used only to send it.
• Automatically. Your IP address, held briefly to limit how often one visitor can send our forms, and ordinary web-server logs. Our application logs record request identifiers, message identifiers and counts - never the contents of what you typed.

Payments

We never see your card or bank details. Your subscription is handled by Clerk Billing: you subscribe in Clerk's checkout on our get-started page, and you change your card, see your invoices or cancel on your Clerk billing profile. The payment forms there belong to Stripe, our payment processor, and your card number goes to Stripe and never to KashPage. What comes back to us is a summary: the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry month, together with your subscription's status and next payment. Clerk's and Stripe's own privacy policies apply to what they hold.

Who else handles your information

• Clerk - sign-up, sign-in and your login details; your subscription and billing profile.
• Stripe - payment processing, on Clerk's behalf: your card details and each charge.
• Amazon Web Services - hosts this site and carries your requests to our back office, in AWS's US East (Ohio) region.
• Our back office - the team and systems that review requests, activate stores and run billing.
• The store builder. You build your store on our partner's platform. What you do there is covered by that platform's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising.

Cookies

kashpage.com sets two cookies, both essential: kashpage.session, which keeps you signed in, and a form-protection token that stops other sites submitting forms as you. Neither is used for tracking. Clerk sets its own cookies on accounts.kashpage.com when you sign in; its script also runs on our get-started page and account page, where it sets Clerk's session cookies so that checkout and your billing profile recognise your login. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

• Account and store details: for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as bookkeeping and tax rules require.
• Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
• IP addresses used for rate limiting: minutes. Server logs: a short, fixed period.

Your choices

• Your name and email address can be changed in your Clerk profile, reached from your account page.
• To see everything we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to privacy@kashpage.com. Closing your last store ends billing; deletion follows once bookkeeping rules allow.
• To stop the newsletter, reply to any issue or write to the same address.
• Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your information. Write to us and we will honour them.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS. Card details never touch this site. Credentials for the services above are held in a secrets store, never in code, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

Who this service is for

KashPage is a service for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Significant changes are announced by email to account holders.
